So today I had a physical today. I had to fast for at least 12 hours so they could check my cholesterol level. I had an afternoon appointment, which was a drag, for the fasting, but it was going okay. I was really hungry come three o'clock.
About 1:00 I had a meeting for RYM with Karl and Travis. I was chatting with once of our DEEP kid's Moms (Jane), who works at the church. We were laughing and such, and I distractedly grabbed a few M&M's...BIG MISTAKE.
Doctor "Have you been fasting?"
Lee "Yeah...oh I accidentally ate a couple M&M's (thinking nothing of it)."
Doctor "Well we can't take your blood then...it will throw off the cholesterol."
Lee "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
In other news, small world, my doctor's son goes to DEEP.
THERE'S BLOOD IN THE WATER!!!
