Be there or be a toot-face!
So I finally broke down. I finally had it with my 501. It is a good product, but not nearly the product that Tivo is. I sold the 501 on Ebay, and got a 80 hour Tivo. I plan to upgrade the drive once I feel that the unit is going to last, and I find a good deal on a hard drive. It is nice to have Fry's right down the road so that I can check on prices frequently! Anyhow, it is a great product, I highly reccoimend it. Cool features, even that a ANTI-technology wife can appreciate, like listening to Caedmon's MP3s that are stored on the Computer via the TIVo....Very cool product!
Yeah, it is a huge picture, but it is a HUGE product!
So I know that you have all been waiting on the edge of your seats to hear about the Yellow Team.....
It was great! We had 13 participants, and it was a fabulous time. About half of the team walked at what I will generously term "a snail's pace," a couple "mall walker pace," a couple at "a good jog," and two at a "I'm in ROTC and I like to punish my body and run a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong way...."
After the race the crew came over to the KnouseHouse for a grrrrrrrreat brunch with jalepeno squares, pankakes, bacon, juice, and smoothies.....Shocking only in the fact that Skylar skipped a chance at free food....someone must be living at home this semester (we even checked his tempature).
We are amped to do it again next year in the 2nd annual Yellow Team, Austin Style, so you folks that were not in attendance can come then!
Pictures to come....stay tuned!
So has anyone else taken Defensive Driving online? This thing is HORRID! It's not difficult, and designed to be as boring and painful as possible. Dang I will think twice before I speed again!
