What Kind of Coffee are You?

So Today was the last day, it was kind of anticlimactic. I helped my last customer, hung up the apron and walked out. Tonight all the coworkers and I are getting together. Its odd, leaving my first real job. Kinko’s taught me a great many things, and as much as I am glad to leave, I am grateful for the opportunity that the company gave me. I saw people at their best, but often at there worst (so goes retail). It was all very educational.
Kinko’s has given me many wonderful memories that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
Check out the wifesite wifesite, just letting you know.
So Julie and I are well on our way to having the apt packed up. It has the rest of the family in a tizzy. Farmer is worried that she will have to find a new spot (or maybe even have to move more than 2 feet at some point) and Frankie is thinking that she is getting left here. Julie is okay with it all, she knows that she is coming along....
Well one thing is for sure. I suck at packing and hate it. I am definatly the weak link in this whole deal. I get one box into it and immediately have the undeniable urge to go drink a beer, or go to Sonic for a slush. The wife just keeps pluging along. It is a good thing I work this week or I would have no excuse for slacking.
So I have sold 5 invites to Gmail for a total of $80. Ain't capitalism grand!?!
So has anyone visited Emily's Page? Chick has shot some pimp photos!!!!!!
Go Emily!
So did anyone else order a Ben Wallace poster off of ebay? Some dude that lives in Dallas (Plano I think) just bought one from me....Some people just need to pick a team.
"Game 4 (of the NBA Finals), Sunday night on ABC, you can miss it, if you want, but all your boys will talk dirty junk about you if you do...."

Brightroom takes some super cool race photos!!
Does this mean that I will forever be a pistons fan (a la B. Albers and the Spurs/Mavs)? :) No. Do I like Big Ben and hope they beat the poo out of Lakers. Heck yeh!
So we officially have a start to the Yellow Team Austin. The list of participants so far is as follows...
Julie Knouse
Lee Knouse
Nick Lawrence (Patty too?????)
Brandon Albers
Let me know so we can plan for the Race for the Cure, Austin Style!
OK. So I just had to throw in a bit about our run! Lee will be so proud that I AM POSTING on the BLOGGER!!!
Our run was so incredible. Everyone had really talked up the race like it was going to be super hard. We kept hearing about all the hills and the higher altitude, so I was really SCARED! I made Lee run it pretty slow and as everyone ran by panting and wheezing, I was glad. That wouldn't have been fun. So we just smiled and laughed the whole 6.2 miles! It was easy! Then the finish was just amazing. We both seemed to get this adrenaline rush and were just flying through the crowds of people to get into the CU stadium. Once we entered and saw all the people and heard all the cheering, I thought I would cry! I was so proud of us. Afterwards, we really had fun getting to go around and carb-load with all the free give-aways. We probably consumed more calories than we actually burned! There was ice cream, juice, smoothies, popsicles, bananas, beer, and my favorite...soy tortilla chips. They were so yummy!
So if you are thinking of joining us for the Race for the Cure...let me twist your arm with the thought of those free soy tortilla chips! It will be a guaranteed fun...and healthy time for all! :)

So I was all reved up for a big Astros Cubs showdown in the NL Central, and all the sudden Griffey and the Reds are tearing it up? What up with that? Isn't Griffey scheduled for a broken ankle by now?
So it looks like it is official, we will be starting a Yellow Team
in Austin....
What does this mean?
We will be walking and running in the Austin Race for the Cure to help raise money to help support breast cancer research. It should be a great event to raise money to support this effort.
If you would like to participate just let me know, and I will keep you abreast of the goings on of the Yellow Team Austin!!!!
Well it is official, Julie and I ran our first 10k, and what a experience it was. 48,000 people, costumed runners, people standing in their lawns with water-hoses, belly dancers along the route, it was definitely odd, definitely fun! Our first Bolder Boulder was super fun, an experience that we will never forget. I think I have found a new hobby, its fun, cheap, and good for the ticker. Julie and I may not have run it fast, but we loved the whole experience and we are looking forward to doing it again in the future!
Upcoming plans for our new hobby include running the Austin Race for the Cure, by hopefully starting a branch of the Yellow Team in Austin. We are also looking forward to the Capital 10k in Austin! Whoop!
